Okay... so I have been a huge Ricky Williams fan since he was a longhorn :) :::HOOK EM BABY!!!::: I can honestly say that his choices really disappointed me as a fan and as a football enthusiast (putting all that talent aside for pot... wow :P ). After hearing him on ESPN radio about ten minutes ago I think his reinstatement would be an awesome thing.
If you know anything about Ricky's story you know he came from pretty humble beginnings and was struggling with severe anxiety issues when he started as a pro. Dealing with the media was a huge phobia for him and once confronted with the fame he gained the media was a great source of stress for him.
Hearing him on the radio this morning sure made it sound like he was on the up and up but I guess that we will see how it goes...
... it sounded to me like he has learned a lot over the past couple years and I think that if the commissioner does reinstate him he will be a lot better off than he was this time around and we will see him fulfill the great potential that he once showed. The big question will be will the dolphins take him back or will they push his reinstatement so they can get rid of him in the draft. A 2000 yard season sure does advocate a valuable running back... especially when he's a team player and not a player that wants the ball on every play...

IMO... I hope he gets reinstated... and if he does we will see some great things.
